Jason Cundy has criticized Liverpool for its handling of Mohamed Salah over the last year.
Salah will leave Liverpool at the end of the season after nine years with the club, during which he has won the Premier League title twice as well as the Champions League and several domestic cups.
The Egyptian produced arguably the best form of his career last term, scoring 34 times and providing 23 assists in all competitions, but it's been a different story entirely this season, with the Egyptian having tallied just 10 goals.
Salah and Liverpool's disappointing campaign comes off the back of him signing a two-year contract extension last April to keep him on Merseyside until 2027.

Weeks after it was confirmed that Salah would be staying, Trent Alexander-Arnold announced his exit, as he joined Real Madrid for a nominal transfer fee as he approached the end of his Liverpool contract.
Alexander-Arnold has had a difficult first season in Madrid, largely due to fitness issues, but despite that, Cundy thinks that Liverpool would have fared far better had they handed the lucrative contract to Alexander-Arnold instead of Salah last year.
"All the Liverpool fans phoning up moaning about Trent, about what happened, they turned down £20m from Real Madrid [in January 2025]," Cundy said on talkSPORT.

"They gave Mo Salah a two-year contract on £400,000-a-week, they gave the contract to the wrong player! They should have given that money to Trent, in his prime.
"So he's walked on a free, they've both walked on a free.
"So they give the money to Trent, and all the Liverpool fans moaning... they've put their eggs in the wrong basket, Liverpool.
"They've ballsed this right up, they should have given Trent, at the peak of his powers, give him what he wanted, sit down, do the deal, do the deal earlier, and let Salah go.
"Now all of a sudden, you find they've gone on a free... wow!
"I mean, that is a mess... that is an absolute mess."
