Chelsea striker Joao Pedro has been a major hit during his debut season at Stamford Bridge, scoring 19 goals in all competitions
Joao Pedro has claimed Chelsea's players are doing their best to rally around goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen following his recent injury.
The Dane had displaced Robert Sanchez in Liam Rosenior's starting XI before picking up a groin issue that required minor surgery.
Pedro has now revealed he's formed a close bond with the shot-stopper since arriving at the club from Brighton last summer.
He told Viaplay: “He’s going through a tough time right now because he’s injured. So, we’re trying to help him. He’s a really good guy, and both on and off the field, he’s very professional. He tries to help everyone.
“We’re very close because our girlfriends also try to hang out together. Off the field, we’re always joking around with each other. So, we’re very close.”

Jorgensen had hoped to help his country Denmark qualify for the World Cup in the absence of fellow injured goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
But his own fitness issue disrupted his momentum and he's yet to return to action despite suggestions he would be back fit after the international break.
Denmark also lost their World Cup play-off final against Czech Republic on penalties meaning they won't play at this summer's finals in North America.
Rosenior first dropped Sanchez for Jorgensen for Chelsea's impressive 4-1 Premier League win at Aston Villa.
Jorgensen then endured an evening to forget in the Champions League as the Blues were defeated 5-2 by PSG.
Speaking around the time of the ordeal, Rosenior made it clear that he welcomed competition between the sticks.
"For me, genuinely, I look at the goalkeeper position differently for each game," Rosenior said. "I want there to be competition in every area of the pitch.
"I know, traditionally, if there's a change of goalkeeper, people assume he's now the number one. That's not the case. We will pick - and I will pick - the best team for each game.
"Filip hasn't been waiting - he's been working for his opportunity. I thought he took it really, really well. But Rob has put in great performances as well."
Sanchez kept a clean sheet on Saturday as Chelsea cruised to the semi-finals of the FA Cup following a brutal 7-0 demolition of League One side Port Vale.
