John Terry filmed his live reaction to Chelsea's Carabao Cup semi-final second leg defeat by Arsenal, with his daughter Summer begging him not to post the video
John Terry left his daughter, Summer, pleading with him not to share footage he recorded of himself watching Chelsea's Carabao Cup elimination by Arsenal whilst donned in full Blues training gear.
The Chelsea legend copped criticism as his former club were ousted by the Gunners when Kai Havertz's decisive strike sealed victory against Liam Rosenior's men. Terry posted his live response to Chelsea's crushing moment of defeat.
The 45-year-old was recording in hopes of capturing a dramatic Chelsea leveller. "Just over a minute to go. We need a goal," he remarked.
"Not a bad performance tonight. Love that, dog's loving it. Come on, boys, we need a goal, a big chance. Take it in the box. Come on, deliver."
A botched attacking move prompted Terry's daughter to voice her annoyance with some colourful language.
"Don't put that anywhere, please," Summer urged, as Terry appeared shocked at the camera. "Don't put that anywhere, Dad," she repeated with a nervous chuckle.

Terry responded: "Say sorry." Following her compliance, Summer persisted: "You're not putting that anywhere.
"I am," replied a determined Terry as Summer implored: "You're not."
Terry subsequently unleashed his own profanity whilst witnessing former Blues striker Havertz find the net. The ex-Chelsea skipper informed his 454,000 TikTok followers: "Offside, offside anyway.
"Offside. Surely he's offside. That's the end of our cup run. Surely he's offside.
"Not a bad performance from us but didn't really look like scoring all night to be honest and Arsenal have done what they needed tonight."

Much to Terry and Summer's disappointment, Havertz's strike was allowed to stand, resulting in Liam Rosenior's side exiting the Carabao Cup. It represented the second loss of his tenure, with both defeats coming at Arsenal's hands.
Terry, notably remembered for donning his complete kit despite being suspended for the 2012 Champions League final, explained his choice of attire whilst viewing the match. "I'm not sitting at home in my Chelsea tracksuit," he clarified.
"Got back earlier from our Youth League Game vs PSV which we won on penalties."
Chelsea's under-19s advanced to the UEFA Youth League last 16 following a 7-6 penalty shootout victory over PSV after the match finished 1-1.
That hasn't prevented some Arsenal supporters from revelling in the footage Terry shared online.
"Thought Kai Havertz scoring would be the best thing I watch tonight but here's John Terry recording himself thinking Chelsea will score only for Kai to win it. In his full Chelsea tracksuit ahaahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahah," remarked one fan.
"John Terry says Kai Havertz was offside. What! ? This is why he'll never be as good as William Saliba!" another added.
"Why would he even post this?" questioned one social media user. "Like he had the option to press post."
