Jordan Henderson anointed Mohamed Salah the king of Liverpool after the Egyptian broke another Premier League record over the weekend.
With his assist for Hugo Ekitike during Liverpool's 2-0 win over Brighton, Salah moved clear as the player with the most goals and assists for a single club in Premier League history.
Salah was previously level with Wayne Rooney – who racked up a combined total of 276 for goals and assists in the Premier League for Manchester United – but Liverpool's No.11 is now out on his own with 277 for the Reds.
Salah took to social media to share a graphic of his new record, and former Liverpool captain Henderson responded by posting a crown emoji as well as a love heart.
Of course, most of Salah's Premier League goal contributions will have been made while he was playing alongside Henderson at Anfield.
According to the website LFChistory, Salah and Henderson combined for seven Premier League goals during their spell playing together – with Salah assisting two goals for Henderson, and Henderson assisting five goals for Salah.
Meanwhile, Henderson scored his first goal for new club Brentford on Sunday as the Bees faced Leeds in the Premier League.
Unfortunately for Henderson, his goal was not enough to secure victory for Brentford, as Dominic Calvert-Lewin's 82nd-minute header ensured the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Henderson has received plenty of praise for his performances for Brentford since returning to the Premier League over the summer, and he explained: "I feel good physically, it's nice to be back playing in the Premier League. Head down and try to work hard to do my best for the team. We're disappointed not to win but a point in this league is still important."
Henderson celebrated his goal against Leeds by replicating the late Diogo Jota's famous celebration, as he sat cross-legged on the floor and mimicked playing a video game.
Henderson spoke to Sky Sports after the game and was asked about his celebration. He responded: "It was his (Jota's) birthday recently, we'll never forget him.
"We always remember him forever really. I can only imagine what the lads at Liverpool are going through. He was a good friend. I don't score many goals, but when I did, I always thought I would dedicate it to him."
