Liam Rosenior has been sacked as Chelsea manager with a host of names in the running to replace him

Jurgen Klopp has already made his stance clear on the prospect of managing another Premier League club after leaving Liverpool in 2024 - a point that has resurfaced amid the growing crisis at Chelsea. Liam Rosenior was sacked as Blues boss on Wednesday after a dismal 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday.

The loss marked Chelsea's fifth straight Premier League defeat, all without scoring. The club's sporting leadership team held talks on Wednesday to assess Rosenior's position, where it was decided to dispense with the former Strasbourg man's services.

The 41‑year‑old, appointed less than four months ago on a six‑year deal, was originally due to have his role reviewed at the end of next season. However, he didn't manage to make it that far as Chelsea now go looking for their latest new man in the dugout.

Cesc Fabregas, Filipe Luis, Andoni Iraola and Diego Simeone are all near the top of the betting to replace Rosenior. One man a lot further down the list is Jurgen Klopp – and for good reason.

The former Liverpool boss has already made his feelings clear over coaching another Premier League club, in the event the hierarchy had his name in mind. After announcing he would be stepping down at Anfield, the German stressed: "What I know definitely, I will never, ever manage a different club in England than Liverpool, 100 per cent.

"That's not possible. My love for this club, my respect for the people is too big. I couldn't. I couldn't for a second think about it. There's no chance. This is part of my life, we are part of the family, we feel home here.

Sky has upgraded its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle to now include HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+ and Hayu, as well as 135 channels and full Sky coverage of the Premier League and EFL.

Sky broadcasts more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more with at least 215 live from the top flight alongside Formula 1, darts and golf.

"There's no chance to do that. But all the rest, will I ever work again? Of course, I know myself, I cannot just sit around. I will find something else maybe to do. But I will not manage a club or a country at least for a year, that's not possible, I cannot do that and I don't want to. That's all."

As it stands, there's no suggestion Chelsea would look to appoint Klopp. Indeed,

Despite the outside noise and ongoing speculation, Klopp has made it clear he doesn't miss the relentless day‑to‑day demands of management. He admitted being happy and fulfilled in his current role within the Red Bull Group.

"I don't miss being in the dressing room, I coached something like 1,080 games so I was in a dressing room often," he added. "I don't want to die in a dressing room because it's nice, it smells.

"There might be something, I'm 58, I could make the decision in a few years, I don't know. Do I have to make the decision today that I will not coach again but thank god I don't have to, I can just see what the future brings.

"Now I'm in a project I really love, I like doing what I'm doing right now. In my mind, only if I'm focused 100 percent, I can do it really good."
