Real Madrid is considering approaches for Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino, with Alvaro Arbeloa expected to be fired.
The Spaniard only took charge earlier this season, succeeding Xabi Alonso, but the former Liverpool defender looks set for a swift departure after Real's European campaign ended in disappointment on Wednesday. President Florention Perez has a reputation for swift action, and the Spanish team is already hunting for its next high-profile manager.
Former Liverpool manager Klopp has been touted for the role but currently holds a senior position within the Red Bull organization. The German has ranked amongst Europe's top managers for over a decade and might be enticed back into management, according to the Daily Mail, particularly if silverware beckons

As recently as March, Klopp dismissed speculation linking him with Madrid as unfounded, though he left the door ajar for future possibilities.
He said: "If Real Madrid had phoned, we would have heard about it by now. But that's all nonsense.

"Who knows what will happen in the coming years? But there's nothing planned."
Pochettino represents another candidate on Real Madrid's shortlist.
The 54-year-old has taken charge at Tottenham, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, and will guide the United States at its home World Cup this summer. His availability afterward may hinge on how the tournament unfolds.
Perez has previously pursued Pochettino twice — during his tenure at Tottenham and later at PSG. The Argentine manager enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Kylian Mbappe at PSG, which could be rekindled should he take the reins at the Bernabeu.
Arbeloa had been managing Castilla, Madrid's reserve side, before being promoted to succeed Alonso.
While achieving notable results, including a victory over Manchester City in the Champions League, the Spanish club will view its campaign as disappointing.
Madrid has suffered defeat in three of their previous seven La Liga fixtures, leaving them nine points adrift of Barcelona in first.
Madrid also endured a cup upset at the hands of Albacete, which eliminated Arbeloa's side from the Copa del Rey at the last-16 stage.
