Jurgen Klopp's agent has dismissed speculation linking the former Liverpool boss with the Atletico Madrid manager's job.
A Spanish outlet claimed that former Liverpool manager Klopp had recently been in advanced discussions to succeed Diego Simeone in the Atleti hot seat.
Simeone is contracted to Atletico until 2027, but El Chiringuito says that the club's owners are considering parting ways with the Argentine in the off-season.
However, despite speculation that Klopp could succeed Klopp, the German's agent, Marc Kosicke, said that there is no truth to the rumors.
“There is no need to answer questions about matters that are just rumors. Nobody has contacted us at this time,” Kosicke said.

Kosicke's comments come after Red Bull CEO Oliver Mintzlaff also rubbished suggestions that Klopp could be eyeing a way out of his role as Red Bull's Global Head of Soccer.
"This is complete nonsense and completely plucked out of thin air," Mintzlaff said. "On the contrary, we are extremely satisfied with the work Jurgen Klopp is doing.
"He invests a great deal of time and effort, he is in constant communication with our coaches and sporting directors, and continues to develop our Red Bull football philosophy in a sustainable way.
"We are convinced that he is the right man for this job. That is where we are putting all our focus and energy."

The persistent speculation linking Klopp with a return to management comes despite the Reds boss having continuously maintained that he is enjoying life away from management.
“I love what I do right now. I don’t miss coaching, I don’t. I do coach now but just different, not players, and I don’t miss it," Klopp said several months ago.
“I don’t miss standing in the rain, two-and-a-half, three hours. I don’t miss going to press conferences three times a week, having 10 or 12 interviews a week. I don’t miss that, I don’t.
“I don’t miss being in the dressing room, like in the sense that I didn’t have it often enough."
He added: "Now I’m involved in a project I really love, and I love the people I’m working together with and the clubs we are responsible for and the countries the clubs are in.
“So I like doing what I’m doing right now and in my mind, only if I’m focused 100 per cent, I can do it really good and that’s what I always want to do.”
