Kevin Danso impressed in Tottenham's 2-0 Champions League victory over 10-man Borussia Dortmund - a result that has helped ease the pressure on under-fire boss Thomas Frank
Kevin Danso insists Tottenham's Borussia Dortmund triumph was living proof the dressing room is still behind Thomas Frank.
Spurs, who made it 24 European home matches unbeaten courtesy of first-half goals from Cristian Romero and Dominic Solanke, are now just one Champions League victory away from securing a top-eight finish ahead of next week's group phase finale at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Regardless of their ongoing Premier League struggles, that would be quite the achievement for Frank and Austrian defender Danso feels there's now a platform to build upon.
He said when asked if the squad still has faith in their boss: "Definitely, we are all together. It's down to us at the end of the day, we go on the pitch and every game we try to give our best.
"It's also about when we're not playing well we need to try and stay in the game and get the results that we need. That's the next step for us, even when it's not going well, we need to try and win games and get results."

So much so, they held crunch training ground talks ahead of facing Dortmund and those discussions sparked a notable upturn in performance levels.
Danso replied when asked why there was such a stark difference in energy to Saturday's West Ham shambles: "I just feel like it's a different competition, different type of game and we just know it's a difficult phase right now.
"We're together and there was unity, we spoke during the week after the weekend and said we need to get our heads down and do a bit more to try and grind out the results."
Spurs now travel to Burnley on Saturday looking to record consecutive wins for the first time since early December when the Europa League winners beat Brentford and then Slavia Prague.
Danso has made it clear Frank's troops are giving their all - even if they're not getting the rub of the green of late.
He continued: "We know what we're capable of, we just need to continue like that, home or away and just try and push on from the result today and the way we played.
"The frustration is there from the fans, we know and understand. We want to win games and that's what we're trying to do.
"We take it onboard but it's down to us players on the pitch to do the best as possible and get the results we deserve."
Just like last season under Ange Postecoglou on the long-winding road to glory in Bilbao, Spurs' sparkly European form is unrecognisable when compared with their domestic record.
Danso added when asked about the early parallels - including the huge number of injuries - between life under Frank and last term when Tottenham finally ended their trophy hoodoo against all odds: "Yeah, we want to be good in both competitions and Europe is an opportunity to do that.
"We showed again today that we're a good side and we just have to keep going and try to do the same in the Prem."
