Kevin De Bruyne hinted that one of his former Manchester City team-mates has expressed an interest in joining Napoli this summer, as the forgotten winger looks for a transfer elsewhere

Kevin De Bruyne has hinted that Jack Grealish could be joining him at Napoli this summer following the Manchester City legend's departure from the Premier League after a decade in blue.
De Bruyne is on his way to building a new legacy in Italy, after signing a two-year deal with the Serie A champions this summer. While the midfielder leaves behind many major honours shared with team-mates at City, he could potentially tempt another one of the club's players to Italy this year.
The 33-year-old noted that out-of-favour City winger Grealish may be interested in joining him at Napoli, telling Corriere dello Sport: "Maybe," with a smirk, when asked if the Englishman had spoken to him about a move to Naples.
Grealish has fallen out of favour at City, and Pep Guardiola even left him out of the Club World Cup squad. Everton have emerged as candidates to sign the 29-year-old while a host of other clubs have been linked with the winger, who joined City for £100million in 2021.
Most recently, Dean Smith admitted he would love a reunion with the ex-Aston Villa man and would be keen to bring him to the MLS to play with Charlotte FC.

Despite his preference to nab Grealish from Man City, Smith admitted that the star has "unfinished business" in Europe, and Napoli could be the answer.
Grealish has made more than 157 appearances for Man City, scoring 17 goals and providing 23 assists. He has three Premier League titles, one FA Cup, a FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Champions League trophy.
He also came runner-up at the 2020 European Championships with England and is keen to make an impact this season to be chosen in Thomas Tuchel's squad for the 2026 World Cup. While the rumours surrounding Grealish continue to swirl, a reunion with De Bruyne may be on the cards in the future.
