Our Chelsea correspondent Bobby Vincent hosted a Q&A session on Friday and was asked mainly about the Blues' transfer plans this month - and here is the full transcript

The transfer rumour mill is in full flow with Chelsea supporters desperate for their club to make at least one signing before the month is over.

The Blues are notoriously active in transfer windows, but are yet to make a signing more than halfway through January. But as we approach the final two weeks of the window, speculation, over what the west Londoners might do to boost Liam Rosenior's squad, is growing.

Earlier on Friday, football.london's Chelsea reporter Bobby Vincent hosted a Q&A session where he was asked predominantly about transfers. Below is the full transcript:

Q: Any plans for Chelsea to recall Kendry Paez from his loan?

A: Not that I've heard at the moment. Given he didn't get too many minutes under Rosenior at Strasbourg, it doesn't make too much sense. There is a new head coach at Strasbourg now in Gary O'Neil, so there could be scope to see how Paez gets on under him.

Q: We've been linked with names like Jeremy Jacquet and Jacobo Ramon. Are there any other centre-backs we're interested in?

A: There is interest in Jacquet and Ramon. They are two centre-backs that have been closely monitored by Chelsea's hierarchy this season. The Blues are considering their options at the moment. The centre of defence is definitely somewhere they feel needs strengthening. If you cast your mind back to last summer, they wanted to sign Dean Huijsen, but he ended up at Real Madrid.

Chelsea only want to make a move in January if they feel the right player is available. The club's sporting directors are in constant dialogue with Liam Rosenior over their options - with Jacquet and Ramon both names that have been discussed internally. At the moment, no other names I can report but there will be other targets, of course.

Q: With Geovany Quenda, Emanuel Emegha and Dastan Satpaev all joining in the summer, how are Chelsea going to make space in the squad for more forwards if they're unhappy with what we have?

A: Satpaev could be loaned out, we're not quite sure on that one yet. Quenda and Emegha, though, are likely to stay with the first team. The club are going to have some decisions on their hands regarding how they make space. Tyrique George looks likely to leave, be it this month or in the summer. Chelsea are set to look for a loan for Marc Guiu next summer, too, given their initial plan was for the striker to spend the season at Sunderland.

Q: Is there any interest in Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi?

A: Sterling has interest from both the Premier League and abroad, while Disasi has been looked at too by foreign clubs. Chelsea would need to sell either if they moved abroad because the Blues currently have a maximum of six players out on overseas loans, as per FIFA's rules.

Q: Do you think Rosenior might abolish the bomb squad? I don't like the way the club have handled the situation.

A: Difficult to say. He wants to speak to both players but equally it is hard to see a way back for them. Even if the bomb squad was to be abolished, there is no guarantee either player would want to stay given what has happened this season. It is one us reporters will probably ask Rosenior in the next week or so.

Q: Any update on front-of-shirt sponsor or the stadium plans?

A: Unfortunately not. Everything tight-lipped re that at the moment.

Q: Are Chelsea still interested in Kobbie Mainoo, or has his situation changed at United after Ruben Amorim left to make him want to stay? I'd be interested in a loan with option if available, since Romeo Lavia's injuries have left us a bit short.

A: Long-term interest in Mainoo, for sure. Haven't heard anything to suggest they're going to make a move this month or in the summer, but know there's an appreciation for him. Of course the situation has changed for him at United now too. Mainoo and his representatives, I'm sure, would have been in consistent dialogue with the club regarding their plans, not only for a new manager, but for the player himself.

Q: What's the latest on exits? Still some players who could leave Stamford Bridge this month?

A: Tyrique George could leave. Understand he's not massively pushing for a move despite not playing many minutes at all. Chelsea open to selling him, though, and player open to leaving if the right offer comes his way. Plenty of potential suitors. Filip Jorgensen has plenty of interest from elsewhere but I'm told it is unlikely he departs - Chelsea do not want to sell/loan a goalkeeper midway through the season. He could be one to keep an eye on in the summer, though, with the club having more time to source a replacement.

There are of course the situations of Axel Disasi and Raheem Sterling, but nothing imminent in terms of them departing. So, Sterling, Disasi and George look the likeliest - if any - to leave this month.

A couple of academy players are being looked at as well, including Sam Rak-Sakyi, whose contract at Chelsea expires in the summer. Understand there is a League One club keen on the Chelsea academy midfielder this month.
