Hello and welcome to football.london for live coverage of Liam Rosenior's first press conference as Chelsea head coach.
The 41-year-old was appointed Blues boss earlier in the week following the departure of Enzo Maresca on New Year's Day. Rosenior, who watched from the stands at Craven Cottage as his new side lost to Fulham on Wednesday has signed a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge and will take charge of his team for the first time tomorrow night away at Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup third round.
Calum McFarlane, who took interim charge of Chelsea in their last two matches, will join Rosenior's backroom staff as his assistant after the new head coach was impressed with how he handled the squad in a difficult situation. We are set to hear more from Rosenior on that, plus loads more as the media get the opportunity to speak to him for the first time this afternoon.
The pre-Charlton/unveiling press conference is set to begin at 1:30pm (UK time) this afternoon. Bobby Vincent is live in Cobham to bring you word-for-word updates from the new Chelsea head coach.
