Liam Rosenior provides Cole Palmer injury update before Chelsea clash vs West Ham

4 days ago 7

Liam Rosenior has provided an update on Cole Palmer ahead of Chelsea's clash against West Ham. The Blues will lock horns with Nuno Espirito Santo's side at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon as they each look to climb the Premier League table.

The Chelsea talisman suffered a groin injury at the start of the season, only to be rushed back from the treatment room and aggravate the problem a week later. Palmer spent the next two months or so on the sidelines before reappearing in December.

Between Enzo Maresca and Rosenior, Palmer has been carefully reintegrated into the starting lineup as he looks to rebuild his fitness.

Speaking to reporters at Cobham ahead of this weekend's match, the Chelsea boss said: "[He's] absolutely fine. He's available to start."
