Liam Rosenior was involved in a furious altercation before Chelsea's Carabao Cup semi-final second-leg tie against Arsenal. The Blues boss appeared displeased with something that happened in the warm up at the Emirates Stadium.

Rosenior, 41, gestured at a member of his coaching staff before throwing his arms up in the air in the direction of the Arsenal players.

According to Sky Sports, Rosenior was annoyed by the Arsenal players venturing into his half while warming up. It's claimed that he could be heard shouting "stay in your half" to his opposition.

Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp said: "You can see it there, he's telling him to stay in their half. I don't quite obviously know, I haven't seen it. It's like someone's kicked a ball in his area."

Rosenior cut an animated figure pre-match and looked fired up as his Chelsea side went into the game aiming to claw back a one-goal deficit after trailing 3-2 from the first leg at Stamford Bridge.
