Chelsea head to bottom-of-the-table Wolves on Saturday afternoon with Liam Rosenior expected to name a fresh face in his squad for the trip to Molineux

Liam Rosenior has now been in charge at Chelsea for exactly a month. In what has been an extremely busy start for Enzo Maresca's successor, the Blues have already played eight times.

Rosenior has started well - with six victories from his opening eight games in all competitions. The only defeats in that run have come at the hands of Arsenal, the Premier League leaders, who knocked them out over two legs in the Carabao Cup semi-final.

On Saturday afternoon, Chelsea travel to Wolves, who sit rock-bottom of the top-flight table, with Rosenior having the perfect opportunity to make it seven wins from nine. The Blues head coach will be bolstered by another option he will have at his disposal in the form of Mamadou Sarr.

Chelsea decided to trigger the break clause in the 20-year-old's loan contract with sister club Strasbourg towards the end of the recently-concluded January transfer window. Sarr was an ever-present figure with the French club this season, including under Rosenior. With Tosin Adarabioyo out through injury and long-term absentee Levi Colwill still missing, Rosenior will be thankful to call upon another option.

Sarr trained with his Chelsea teammates on Thursday for the first time since being recalled earlier in the week. The Senegal international arrived back in the country on Tuesday and watched on as the Blues were beaten at Arsenal in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final.

However, Sarr's chances of starting on Saturday afternoon seem slim. By the time Chelsea travel to Molineux, the defender will only have completed two full training sessions with the squad.

There could be a rest for Wesley Fofana in the West Midlands after the Frenchman completed the full 90 minutes at the Emirates Stadium in the week. Benoit Badiashile could be the man to replace his countryman and partner Trevoh Chalobah in the centre of Chelsea's defence.
