Liverpool agrees to $47M Marc Guehi transfer as medical scheduled

Liverpool and Crystal Palace have reached an agreement worth $47 million (£35 million) for the transfer of Marc Guehi, who is set to undertake a medical ahead of the move.

Oliver Glasner, the Crystal Palace boss, had insisted that Guehi could not be sold and replaced in time only yesterday but it is understood that a breakthrough has been made. Guehi has long wanted to make the switch to Anfield.

Liverpool is also set to bring in Alexander Isak from Newcastle United in a club-record deal. That will complete an astounding summer of spending after winning the Premier League title last season.
