Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes has had as busy a summer as he could have imagined so far, but there is plenty more for him to get done before the September 1 transfer deadline arrives.
Alexander Isak is of interest, of course, with reports today suggesting that Liverpool has submitted an opening bid to Newcastle United. A center-back, after Jarell Quansah was allowed to depart, should also be a major priority.
But there will be even more movements when it comes to sales and departures. After Luis Diaz moved to Bayern Munich for a fee that could reach $88 million (£66 million), plenty more money could still come in.
Harvey Elliott has drawn interest from West Ham United, among others, but it remains to be seen how high any suitors will be prepared to go for the England U21s star. Liverpool will not be letting him leave on the cheap.
Darwin Nunez, meanwhile, was another who it was assumed by many would be on the move. Juventus is the latest team to be linked with a transfer swoop for the player, though Napoli has ended up looking elsewhere.
Federico Chiesa has a long list of clubs in Italy who would be interested in exploring a move for him. According to the latest gossip, he could even stay in the Premier League.
Fulham could yet make a move for Chiesa this summer, according to La Reppublica. The Italian outlet also says that Celtic is interested in a move, though that would be on loan.
Tyler Morton should probably have moved on last summer but ended up staying put. He was needed for midfield cover but didn't end up breaking into Arne Slot's plans.
This week, it was reported by the French outlet L'Equipe that Lyon was keen on Morton, who, like Elliott, starred for England U21s at this summer's European Championship. Again, though, Liverpool won't agree to anything on the cheap — it never does.

Ben Doak has interest from various places and could move on, having impressed for Middlesbrough on loan. Crystal Palace was keen in the winter window but nothing has firmed up in terms of offers for the player just yet.
And James McConnell is in a similar position. He is ready for regular senior action but isn't likely to get that at the base of the Liverpool midfield with Ryan Gravenberch for competition.
In terms of youngsters, Lewis Koumas, Kaide Gordon, Calvin Ramsay, Luke Chambers and Luca Stephenson are just some of those who could leave on loan or permanently. Stefan Bajcetic is currently injured, while Jayden Danns made a comeback from injury by scoring for the Reds' U21s on Tuesday.
While Isak understandably remains the main focus for most people when it comes to Liverpool's transfer business, plenty more is going on as well. It's been a busy summer so far, but there are no signs of that slowing down.
