Liverpool fans could be forced to pay out over $1,000 for tickets should their team make it to this year’s Champions League final.
The Reds will be aiming to book their place in the quarter-finals of the competition this week as they host Galatasaray in the second leg of their last-16 tie. Arne Slot’s team needs to overturn a 1-0 deficit after falling to a defeat in Istanbul last week, although they are still being backed by some pundits to make it through.
Liverpool already knows its potential path to the final, with a potential quarter-final tie against one of Paris Saint-Germain or Chelsea before the prospect of facing one of Real Madrid, Manchester City, Atalanta, or Bayern Munich for a place in this year’s final.

Slot’s side moved up to fifth in the Premier League after a disappointing draw with Tottenham on Sunday. That could be enough to secure a spot at Europe’s top table, while winning this year’s competition would also book their place for next season.
