Liverpool’s supporters have sent a clear message regarding Andy Robertson’s future with the Reds potentially having to rethink its transfer plans.

Robertson’s contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the season, and Liverpool have opened discussions with Tottenham Hotspur over a potential January move.

The club’s long-standing appreciation of his service and commitment has also formed part of their considerations when weighing up a possible sale.

However, Reds fans have made their feelings abundantly clear during the game at the Vitality Stadiu. The Scotland international remains a hugely popular figure, and widespread reaction from supporters has underlined a strong desire for the club to retain one of its longest-serving and most reliable players.

Robertson replaced Milos Kerkez at half time against Bournemouth after the Hungarian struggled against Alex Jimenez who doubled Bournemouth's lead. Following the substitution, Robertson's song could be head ringing around the stadium.
