Liverpool fans make feelings clear on Mason Greenwood during Marseille clash

Marseille forward and ex-Manchester United starlet Mason Greenwood was showered with boos by the visiting Liverpool fans marking their feeling claer on the former Red Devil

Traveling Liverpool fans pelted Marseille forward Mason Greenwood with boos every time the former England international was on the ball during Wednesday's Champions League match at the Stadio Velodrome.

Greenwood, 24, spent the early part of his career playing for Manchester United before he left the club first on loan to Getafe in 2023 and on a permanent basis to Marseille in 2024. Wednesday is his first time facing the Reds since he left the Premier League giants.

The ex-Red Devil couldn't do anything amid the boos to stop a rampart Liverpool team from thrashing Marseille 3-0, putting the Reds in a strong position to receive a bye to the UCL Round of 16.
