Liverpool fans say same thing after what Alexander Isak did in first training session

A video has surfaced showing Alexander Isak's initial training session with Liverpool.

The Swedish striker sealed a move to Anfield on transfer deadline day this summer, marking his official introduction as a Liverpool player. The 25-year-old's transfer to Merseyside set a new British transfer record - costing the Reds around $169 million - and was shrouded in controversy after his three-year stint at Newcastle.

Isak took drastic measures to push through the transfer, sitting out Newcastle's preseason tour due to a slight injury. Consequently, he played no role in the Magpies' preseason activities or the opening month of the Premier League campaign.

Liverpool's latest signing is set to make his first appearance for Arne Slot's team on Sunday against newly-promoted Burnley. The Reds are looking to keep their flawless league record intact when they visit Turf Moor.

The club shared clips of Isak's first training with Liverpool, sparking excitement among fans.

"We might have underpaid," one fan suggested.

"Alexander Isak, the best striker on the planet, running round the AXA in a pair of bright yellow F50s. These are the days, my friend," another supporter commented.

"Imagine Isak alongside Salah, Wirtz, and Gakpo. I can't believe my life right now," a third fan gushed.

"I still can't believe he plays for my club," another chimed in.

While on international duty with Sweden, Isak has opened up about his controversial exit from Newcastle, hinting that there's more to the story than meets the eye.

"Not everyone has the full picture, but that's something for another day," he shared with Swedish journalists.

"That's part of football. I can't control everything that is said or written, but I'm glad I became a Liverpool player.

"That's what I wanted, and I'm happy about that. There is a lot to discuss, and it can be discussed for a long time.

"It has been educational, and I'm happy with the final result. I'm happy and proud to be a Liverpool player. I don't want to go into details or talk about that situation too much.

"It is a closed chapter, but I have never had any problems."
