Arne Slot remained coy on Liverpool's transfer plans during the closing days of the January window.
The window closes on Monday, Feb. 2 at 7pm GMT, and it has been a quiet window for the Reds thus far, with 17-year-old Mor Ndiaye the only addition so far.
Ndiaye joined Liverpool from Senegalese side Amitie FC, and has linked up with Liverpool's Under-21 squad.
Slot was asked about transfers during a press conference on Friday, and responded: "You know the answer. It is that if we think we have a player who can help us and think it is possible, we will do so, but those are conversations that don't take place in this room."
Pressed further on what his initial response meant, Slot answered: "I gave the answer I gave. If that means it's likely or unlikely..."
When the same reporter came back for a third time, asking whether it would be a quiet day on Monday, Slot joked: "OK, it could be. Do you want to play golf?"
