Liverpool is not back in action for another 11 days and Arne Slot's side comes back to a big one: Manchester United at Anfield. After a tough few games, it will be a chance to bounce back.
Several players are either injured or still getting up to speed, however. Slot said Alisson Becker will miss the Manchester United game, but he could be out for longer beyond that with the hamstring issue he sustained in Europe a week ago.
Ibrahima Konate then came off with a quad problem against Chelsea at the weekend, but has gone away with France for international duty. He didn't train yesterda,y but the fact that he has traveled suggests the injury isn't a bad one.
Giovanni Leoni, another center-back, has undergone successful surgery for an ACL injury. He performed well against Southampton and looked very accomplished in that game, but will now miss the majority of the season.
Meanwhile, an official statement from the Japanese FA said Wataru Endo wouldn't go away with his national team this week. The full details are still to emerge, but he came on for a short time at Stamford Bridge and appears to have picked up an issue.
Federico Chiesa missed out on the Italy squad because he isn't 100 per cent fit, Gennaro Gattuso said. And as for Alexander Isak, he's still working on his match sharpness and should get a decent chunk of minutes for Sweden.
"You need six weeks in a pre-season," Sweden boss Jon Dahl Tomasson told Fotbollskanalen. "First you play 45 minutes, then 60 minutes, 75 minutes and 90 minutes.
"Then you need another three weeks to be at your best. That’s normal.
"We can’t change the situation. I’m just happy that Liverpool are doing the same thing I would have done. You can see that with Newcastle and Yoane Wissa, who came in instead of Isak.
"He played international matches with Congo straight away and is now injured. He is still injured. That’s also a reason why we couldn’t play him (Isak) so much last month.

"We need a good Isak this month and next month. That’s how we plan, while Liverpool have done really well."
Liverpool.com says: International breaks are usually a pain, but the Reds won't mind this one. After a tough few days, Slot's men have the chance to reset and then get back on track in a few weeks.
For some players, like Isak and Alexis Mac Allister, playing for their nations might be good for getting them closer to being up to speed. For others, like Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai, Liverpool will hope that their countries take care of them physically.
