Liverpool’s progression to the Champions League quarter-finals looks as though it may have come at a price, with yet another injury concern for Arne Slot to deal with.

The Reds blew Galatasaray away at Anfield, more than making up for their defeat in Istanbul the previous week with a 4-0 victory as Dominik Szoboszlai, Hugo Ekitike, Ryan Gravenberch, and Mohamed Salah all got in on the act.

The latter of those has given his side a scare, though, having asked to be substituted as he appeared to be struggling with a knock during the late stages, which will come as a major concern ahead of Saturday’s game at Brighton.

Here is the latest on the injury front for Liverpool following the Champions League victory over Galatasaray…

Mohamed Salah

Salah is the latest name to pose an injury problem for Liverpool. Often held up as the example for other players to follow when it comes to his fitness, the fact that the Egyptian asked to be substituted against Galatasaray isn't too promising.

"He was asking for a substitution, not because he felt he'd scored enough, but he felt something,” Slot confirmed. “So let's see where he is for the weekend and afterwards."

There is no word yet on what the injury is, and Liverpool will have its fingers crossed that it's nothing too serious, but at this moment, Salah is looking like a doubt to face Brighton.

Possible return date: Unknown

Alexander Isak

Alexander Isak will be counting down the days until he can make his return for Liverpool. The striker has been seen back out on the grass at the AXA Training Centre, although he hasn't been getting involved in anything too rigorous with his teammates yet.

We won't be seeing him back against Brighton, but it is hoped he will be in action again after the international break. No doubt he will be eased back by Slot, but he could still have an important role to play this season.

Possible return date: April

Wataru Endo

Wataru Endo is facing a race against time if he is to return before the end of the season. No official word has been given on just how long the Japan international will be out for after being stretchered off against Sunderland.

Japan boss Hajime Moriyasu has revealed that he underwent surgery after that game last month, and is expected to be fit for this summer's World Cup. Whether he will be able to feature again for Liverpool this season remains to be seen, though.

Possible return date: End of May

Conor Bradley

Conor Bradley's season is already over, having sustained a serious knee injury against Arsenal in January that required surgery. The right-back will be keeping his fingers crossed during the international break that Northern Ireland can reach the World Cup.

Liverpool's home and away strips for the 2025/26 season are the first in their new partnership with adidas.

Fans can order jerseys in the US at Fanatics.com or via the LFC Online Store in both the US and across the world.

His country faces Italy in a play-off, with the winner going on to face either Wales or Bosnia and Herzegovina for a spot at the tournament. Should Northern Ireland get there, Bradley will be hoping to recover in time to play a part.

Possible return date: 2026/27 season

Giovanni Leoni

Like Bradley, Giovanni Leoni is not expected to be back for Liverpool again this season. The young Italian's season was brought to a premature end when he ruptured his ACL on his debut against Southampton back in September.

He has been seen in recent videos from the AXA Training Centre, although not in any sessions out on the pitch, as he continues his rehab. It won't be until next season when Leoni sees the pitch again, when hopefully he will be able to get a lot more opportunities.
