Liverpool returns to action on Wednesday when it faces Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. However, the Reds travel to the French capital following a dispiriting loss to Manchester City in the FA Cup.
The Reds' aspirations of rescuing domestic silverware from a disappointing campaign were dashed in a 4-0 quarter-final thrashing at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday. Erling Haaland netted a hat-trick while Antoine Semenyo also found the back of the net.
Arne Slot is coming under increasing pressure for his job as a result, and although he is thought to retain the backing of those inside Anfield, he could do with his side producing a much-improved display in Paris, potentially with the help of a returning injured star.

Alexander Isak
Alexander Isak returned to team training towards the end of last week following a three-and-a-half-month injury absence. The striker went under the knife for an ankle injury which included a fibula fracture, reports the Liverpool Echo.
He was considered for a place amongst the substitutes on Saturday, but having been omitted from his side's matchday squad, Slot clarified ahead of kick-off: "I was hoping the same [that Isak would be among the substitutes on Saturday], but you always do these things in co-operation with medical staff, performance staff and the player himself.
"We came to the conclusion that it was better for him to have a few more sessions than only one or two and then immediately jump into a game like this, where if you bring him in, there might be extra-time.
"The situation is now that I hope – again, I hope – that he will be available for Wednesday, but today came too early for him."
Potential return date: April 8 vs PSG (A)
Alisson Becker
Alisson has been absent from his side's previous two fixtures owing to a hamstring problem, though Slot anticipates the Brazil international will feature again before the campaign concludes.

Alisson Becker is out again with a hamstring problem
"He will not be part of the Paris Saint-Germain games as well," he stated on Friday. "He will be out for a bit longer. Towards the end of the season we expect him to be fit again."
Alisson himself has also spoken out about his latest injury lay-off, and has suggested he could be back in action at the end of this month.
Potential return date: April 25 vs Crystal Palace (H)
Conor Bradley
The full-back is not anticipated to represent Liverpool again this term following surgery on a knee problem sustained against Arsenal in January.
Speaking after the operation, Bradley confirmed: "A big blow, but surgery is done, so the comeback starts now. It won't be for a little while, but I already can't wait to get back playing for Liverpool FC and Northern Ireland."
Potential return date: Next season
Wataru Endo
Wataru Endo has been sidelined since February's visit to the Stadium of Light, during which he required a stretcher after sustaining a foot injury.
Speaking in February, Slot said: "Wata will be out for a long time. We don't know exactly how long – but long."

Stefan Bajcetic
Stefan Bajcetic is yet to feature for the Reds this campaign, and reflecting back in January, Slot remarked: "He's not training yet. So, he constantly gets close to the team and then he has a little setback and then comes close and has a little setback, so we're hoping and expecting to have him very soon, again.
"But at that moment of time he trains with us again, then he's been out for six, seven, eight months [with] no first-team training. So, as much as I'd like to have him back, we have to manage the expectations with him as well."
Potential return date: Unknown
Giovanni Leoni
Giovanni Leoni has been sidelined following an ACL injury suffered during September's Carabao Cup fixture against Southampton. He is not anticipated to return until 2026/27.
Addressing the defender's injury last year, Slot stated: "He is not in a good place, of course, because he tore his ACL and it means he will be out for a year. Being so young and coming to a new country and playing so well in your first game... it's very hard to take the positive side.
"There's never a positive side – but you always try to look at a positive side, and that is that he is still so young, so he has so many years still to go after he recovers from a terrible injury like that."
