Liverpool launch ticketing survey for 500,000 fans as Anfield plan emerges

2 months ago 19

Liverpool has initiated a survey that will be dispatched to 500,000 fans in an effort to revamp the ticketing policy at Anfield.

The Premier League club states that the consultation is designed to "ensure that fans are at the center" of future decisions. Liverpool has been consistently communicating with the club's Supporters' Board regarding several issues that have been brought up, and these conversations have underscored what are being referred to as "complexities and inconsistencies" within the current policies, which are now being scrutinized.

The club emphasizes that no decisions have been finalized regarding changes to the policy, but fans will now have the opportunity to voice their opinions on the existing system, with several areas already under investigation.

Liverpool asserts it is "committed to involving supporters throughout the process, reflecting the club's ongoing commitment to transparent, inclusive and data-driven policymaking."

The ticketing survey will be emailed on Thursday to a broad spectrum of fans, including current and former LFC Official Members and season ticket holders.

The deadline for feedback is set for 5pm (local time) on Thursday, October 30.

Liverpool maintains that any alterations made following the feedback will be gradually implemented over several seasons to minimize disruption and facilitate a seamless transition to a new system for fans.

Phil Dutton, Liverpool FC's vice-president of ticketing and hospitality, has commented on the survey.

He stated: "The views and experiences of our fans will directly influence our ticketing policy for years to come.

"We understand that ticketing is an emotive subject but by working closely with the Supporters Board and hearing from our fanbase, we can ensure any changes we make are considered and focused on the needs of our supporters.

"We would like to thank the fans for their ongoing passion and support and we look forward to receiving their valuable feedback through this survey as we continue to shape the future of ticketing together."

Liverpool is back in Premier League action on Sunday, when Manchester United travels to Anfield.

The Reds will be keen to get back to winning ways after losing their last three games to Crystal Palace, Galatasarasy, and Chelsea.

But United will also be after three points to ease the pressure on manager Ruben Amorim.
