Liverpool names Champions League squad as Arne Slot forced to leave out big name

Federico Chiesa has been omitted from Liverpool's Champions League squad for the 2025/26 group stages.

The Italian, who remained at Anfield this summer despite most expecting him to depart, was not included in the 22-man group that was confirmed on Wednesday by Uefa.

Liverpool was unable to register Chiesa given it did not have room in its Category A list players.
