Liverpool is already preparing for a hectic summer, and the transfer window has not yet opened.
Mohamed Salah will leave at the end of the season, as will his long-serving colleague Andy Robertson, while further departures could follow, with Alisson among the experienced stars attracting interest. Slot and his players face a significant challenge against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
The reigning French team visits Anfield with the Reds needing to overturn a two-goal deficit to maintain their sole remaining opportunity for silverware this season. Yet the Reds received a boost on Saturday by beating Fulham 2-0 at Anfield to boost their hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League.

Spalletti wants Alisson
Salah and Robertson may not be the only members of Jurgen Klopp's 2019-20 title-winning side to leave Liverpool this summer.
According to reports from Italy, Juventus is keen to bring goalkeeper Alisson back to Serie A. Luciano Spalletti, Juventus' manager, previously worked with Alisson at Roma.

The former Italy boss returned to the touchline last October with his side sitting seventh in the table, but now has the chance to steer them back into the Champions League and lay the groundwork for some significant signings.
A new goalkeeper is believed to be high on the manager's list of priorities, with neither Michele Di Gregorio nor Mattia Perin having done enough to stake a convincing claim as first-choice stopper next season.
Pusic springs to Slot's defense
Marino Pusic, who served as Arne Slot's assistant at both AZ and Feyenoord, has come out in support of the under-pressure Liverpool manager.
The 54-year-old turned down the chance to join Slot at Anfield in 2024, having pursued his own managerial ambitions.
"I think Arne deserves much more credit at Liverpool right now than he is getting," Pusic told Voetbal International. "Many people forget how frequently Liverpool has become champion of England in recent decades.
"Arne did it right away in his first season, but Jurgen Klopp has also only won the Premier League title once.
"Before that, Liverpool last won the league title in 1990. And now it is expected that Arne will win the title twice in a row.
"Especially because so much money has been spent. That doesn't always work."
