Liverpool will be aiming to secure three vital points in its pursuit of a top-five finish when it welcomes Fulham on Saturday.
The Reds will enter the match tinged with sadness, aware that another stalwart from Jurgen Klopp's legendary Premier League and Champions League-winning squad will be departing at the season's end. Andy Robertson left supporters heartbroken when he announced on Thursday that he will be leaving Anfield this summer after nine years. The experienced full-back has been pivotal under both Klopp and Arne Slot.
His exit follows other key figures from Liverpool's successful era departing the club recently. Trent Alexander-Arnold joined Real Madrid last summer, while the announcement that Mohamed Salah will also leave the club at the conclusion of the current season emerged last month.

Meanwhile, Robertson's reasons for departing have been disclosed.
Update on Slot's future
Despite Liverpool's Premier League struggles and the club's Champions League aspirations hanging by a thread following Paris Saint-Germain's 2-0 victory in France on Tuesday, the Reds are not believed to be contemplating dismissing Slot from his position.
According to The Telegraph, decision-makers at Fenway Sports Group are convinced the former Feyenoord manager warrants retaining his role for next season. The club is understood to want to grant the Dutchman another transfer window to shape his squad before reaching any significant conclusions.

The complex challenge of identifying Slot's successor is also thought to be a factor preventing Liverpool from dismissing the Premier League-winning manager.
Robertson's reason for leaving
Slot has disclosed precisely why Robertson has chosen to depart Liverpool this summer. The Scotland international, 32, joined Liverpool from Hull in 2017 and helped herald a new period of triumph for the Merseyside outfit.
However, he has found himself predominantly sidelined since the summer, with Milos Kerkez frequently chosen for the left-back role this campaign.
Discussing Robertson's departure, Slot commented: "He has won everything here, really loves this club, it has been a great nine years at the club. But we saw this season he didn't play as much as he used to and as a result of that he is leaving.
"It is difficult to be in that position longer than a season. Every player wants as much regular first-team football as possible. He had many great seasons over here as a player but I think people got to know him as a great person as well.
"I got to know him, every teammate will tell you how funny he is and how great a person he is and that has been shown a lot on social media as well. What I remember most about him is the intensity he is always playing with.
"We have learned something about intensity two days ago, but I can [remember] Robbo making a press from left full-back to right-back a few years ago and I showed that to the players I was working with then."
Robertson's Anfield contract is set to run out in June. While there had been rumors that he might pen another agreement with Liverpool, The Athletic understands that Tottenham is optimistic about securing the left-back, provided the club staves off relegation.
