Liverpool may be looking for a long-term successor to Mohamed Salah, and one PSG talent has reportedly caught their attention.
CaughtOffside noted last month that the club has begun exploring potential options, with Bradley Barcola emerging as a player they are monitoring.
PSG, however, are eager to keep Barcola and could offer him a new deal, even though his current contract runs through 2028. Still, a move to Liverpool remains a possibility.
Barcola has faced stiff competition for minutes in PSG’s attack and has struggled to secure a regular starting role under Luis Enrique, which could make a transfer to a new club appealing.
“Liverpool have already begun background work on replacing Salah,” one well-placed figure in the industry said. “A player they really like, and have been following closely for some time, is Bradley Barcola.”
According to the outlet, Barcola is also described as open to considering his future, a stance that could open the door for Liverpool to explore a move.

On Jan. 8, TEAMtalk transfer insider Graeme Bailey reported, citing sources, that Arsenal have made an inquiry about Barcola, as the French forward weighs his long-term future at PSG.
The report adds that intermediaries have been exploring a potential move, holding discussions with several clubs, including Arsenal.

Barcola isn’t expected to be available this month, but the links to England are genuine, with a transfer possible in the summer or later. If Arsenal pursue the 23-year-old, they could face competition from Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Manchester City.
