Liverpool 'optimistic' over Marc Guehi transfer from Crystal Palace as medical details emerge

Liverpool remains "optimistic" of signing Marc Guehi before the transfer window shuts, according to reports.

The Reds have monitored the Crystal Palace defender all summer and made a £35million ($47M) offer on Saturday.

Now, the Times' Paul Joyce claims Liverpool remains hopeful of concluding a deal, while a medical would take place in London if the 25-year-old's signing can be concluded.
