Liverpool has had a mixed start to the new season, with Arne Slot's team winning without necessarily being convincing to start with — and then suffering a nightmare week.
Defeats to Crystal Palace, Galatasaray and Chelsea have changed the mood, but Liverpool remains in a strong position in the Premier League and only trails Arsenal by a point in the Premier League standings.
We've chosen to exclude players who have featured only for around 90 minutes or less, so that takes Joe Gomez, Wataru Endo and Giovanni Leoni out of the equation, but this is how Liverpool.com has rated the Reds' stars to date.
Alisson Becker (7). When the Brazilian has played, he has impressed. He is the best in the world when he is fit but is currently sidelined with a hamstring problem and there is no concrete date for when he will return yet.
Giorgi Mamardashvili (6). He hasn't played much but looked decent enough against Chelsea when it comes to shot-stopping. His distribution might need some work.
Conor Bradley (5). It's not been a great start for the right-back, who has been taken off at half-time in the last two games he has started. He keeps getting booked early in games which is not helping.
Jeremie Frimpong (5). Mixed, to say the least. There have been good bits but he has struggled more recently. Frimpong hasn't often played at right-back but hasn't really stood out on the wing either.
Ibrahima Konate (5). Again, there have been good bits, but there has been just as much to worry about. The Frenchman has looked like he is playing on skates at times and he has gotten into the habit of gifting possession away.
Virgil van Dijk (7). He has been good but there is more to come. There isn't much new to say about the world's best defender at this point; he just needs those around him to step up.
Milos Kerkez (5). He clearly has talent but has struggled defensively at times. We've not seen loads of his attacking quality and his role appears to be more reserved than when he played for Bournemouth.
Andy Robertson (6). He has been strong when he has played and perhaps could have gotten more minutes given Kerkez's adaptation period. Undoubtedly will get more time on the field in the weeks to come.
Ryan Gravenberch (7). The best midfielder in the Premier League for the first few games of the new season but then struggled against Crystal Palace and Chelsea. Filled in at center-back in the latter, which is a complete waste.
Alexis Mac Allister (5). A real struggle after coming back from injury. He looks a million miles away from his best physically and could be one to benefit from playing for his country this week.

Dominik Szoboszlai (7). Arguably the best performer from a Liverpool perspective, whether he has been at right-back or in midfield. He has played well and will continue to find a spot in the starting XI somewhere.
Curtis Jones (6). He hasn't played as much as he would have wanted and missed out on the England squad. For club and country, he probably deserves more of an opportunity.
Mohamed Salah (5). The Egyptian has scored three goals but hasn't really looked like himself. Talk of him not tracking back has been massively overblown. As long as he starts to find the back of the net again soon, everything will be fine.
Florian Wirtz (6). There have been flashes from the German but nothing sustained. He's been in and out of the team and is yet to score or assist, though that is partly down to his teammates not finishing the chances he has created.
Cody Gakpo (6). At times, he has been anonymous. It's been an under-the-radar start to the new season with talk of Liverpool missing Luis Diaz telling you all you need to know.
Hugo Ekitike (7). Signed from Eintracht Frankfurt, the French forward has settled much more quickly than anyone would have anticipated and looks a real talent. The less said about his red card, the better, though.
Federico Chiesa (6). No one is quite sure yet what his role will be in the long run. He's made a big impact a couple of times off the bench, scoring late against Bournemouth and Crystal Palace, but he hasn't quite kicked on from that.
Alexander Isak (6). Still getting himself up to speed after missing the whole summer, he will be a success at Liverpool but has so far looked rusty. The time to judge will be when he is fully match fit, which will hopefully be soon.
