Liverpool, PSG Get Bad News in Pursuit of Chelsea Transfer Target

Now, another French standout could be catching their attention. According to TBR Football, Bayern Munich are working to tie down Michael Olise to a new contract before the season concludes, hoping to ward off growing interest from other clubs.

Bayern Munich reportedly view Olise’s progress highly and are ready to offer him a major pay raise to ensure he stays. Liverpool have kept tabs on the winger for a while, and Chelsea, PSG, and Barcelona have also shown interest—though none are expected to make a formal approach next summer.

Despite ongoing rumors, German journalist Christian Falk insists Bayern Munich aren’t worried about losing the star. In fact, the club reportedly has enough room in its budget to strike back by putting forward a new offer for Olise.

“Bayern are not worried about Michael Olise’s future amid links from Premier League clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City,” Falk told CFBayernInsider.

“Nobody at Bayern Munich can believe that Premier League teams didn’t make a move for Olise last summer. It was just Newcastle, which made it easier for Bayern, as they could say to the Frenchman, ‘Come to Munich, you can win the Champions League here’….”
