Foot Mercato reported that several major European clubs have shown interest in the defender, with PSG, Real Madrid, and Barcelona all making their presence known. Liverpool chose to keep Konaté last summer rather than entertain those approaches.

Even so, the outlet notes that Real Madrid remains his preferred destination, making the situation worth monitoring if he chooses not to agree to fresh terms with the Reds.
With the winter window approaching and clubs soon able to line up pre-contract agreements, a report outlines what Konaté has put on the table in talks with Liverpool over a new deal.
“Ibou loves Liverpool, but he wants guarantees—minutes, trophies, and a project,” one insider told TEAMtalk. “If the right deal comes, he’ll listen.”

Moreover, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also shared that the French defender has not reached a final decision on his future.
