Liverpool reportedly wants £10 million ($11.6 million) in order to sell Federico Chiesa this month, amid links with a Juventus return.
Chiesa joined Liverpool from Juve in the 2024 summer transfer window, but has failed to make an impression on Arne Slot at Anfield, starting just twice in the Premier League since the beginning of last season.
The Italian has been an impactful substitute at times this term, but his lack of game time from the start will surely concern the player – particularly considering it is a World Cup season.
The landscape at Juve has changed since Chiesa reluctantly left Juve in 2024, with Giorgio Chiellini having replaced Cristiano Giuntoli as Juve's sporting director, and Luciano Spalletti in charge of the team after a couple of disappointing managerial appointments.

Juve was originally said to be considering an approach to re-sign Chiesa on a loan deal until the end of the season, but Tuttosport reports that Liverpool would only be willing to sanction a permanent exit.
Liverpool's reported willingness to sell Chiesa is intriguing, considering the current unavailability of a number of key first-team forwards.
Mohamed Salah is at the Africa Cup of Nations and, in any case, his long-term Liverpool future is uncertain, while Alexander Isak is on the road to recovery after breaking his leg. Hugo Ekitike has also missed Liverpool's last two games.
A return to Italy is said to appeal to Chiesa, and it's a move that would put him back in the spotlight ahead of next summer's World Cup in North America.

Chiesa has not played for his country since last summer's European Championship, and rejected call-ups from Italy manager Gennaro Gattuso for the international breaks earlier in the season.
Chiesa does not feel ready to play an important role for his country due to his lack of minutes at the club level, but a run of games with his old club during the second half of the season could change that.
Italy is yet to qualify for the World Cup, with a play-off semi-final against Northern Ireland awaiting ahead of a possible shoot-out with either Wales or Bosnia and Herzegovina.
