Liverpool and Manchester United are both interested in signing Wolves prospect Mateus Mane during this summer's transfer window.
Mane, 18, has been one of few bright sparks for Wolves this season, and the Midlands club will struggle to keep hold of him after it is relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.
The Molineux club is currently rooted to the bottom of the table on just nine points – 18 points from safety and with just 12 games in the season remaining.
Mane made his first Premier League start at Anfield at the end of December, and has lined up in all of Wolves' top-flight game since then.
His most impressive showing came at the start of January, when he scored and assisted in Wolves' only league win of the season, at home to West Ham.

It is reported that Wolves will demand at least £50 million ($68 million) for Mane, who can play anywhere across the front line.
Meanwhile, rumored Liverpool target Yan Diomande has moved to clarify recent comments he made about Liverpool, after he suggested that it was his dream to play for the Reds.
Speaking on a live stream in January, RB Leipzig winger Diomande said: "I want to play at Anfield, I want to play for Liverpool. I’m a big fan of Liverpool. I’m a big fan of Liverpool because my father’s dream is to see me play at Anfield. So that’s my dream. You know, to fulfil my father’s dream is a dream for me too."

Diomande, though, has now claimed those quotes were taken out of context, saying: "People made it out to be my dream club. But first and foremost, it’s my dad’s favourite club.
"It was always his great wish to see me there someday because he loves the atmosphere at Anfield. He always raved about Steven Gerrard. I was too young to see him play. We didn’t even have a TV at home for a long time. I have a lot of respect for Liverpool, but my dream club right now is Leipzig."
