Liverpool’s season hinges on the next few weeks as the Reds prepare for what will be another huge summer for the club.
With Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson already confirmed to be leaving the club, Liverpool will have to dip into the transfer market for replacements, even if another window like last summer is unlikely.
But what sort of players Arne Slot will be able to target will be impacted by the Reds’ end to the season, with Champions League qualification the absolute bare minimum over the last six league games of the campaign, especially considering some of the names being linked.

Anthony Gordon (Newcastle)
Arsenal could provide competition for the signing of Anthony Gordon, according to TeamTalk.
The former Anfield academy product has been linked with a return to Merseyside, with the Reds mentioned in this latest report as “long-term admirers”. However, it’s claimed that Gordon’s representatives have been in touch with Arsenal and made the Gunners aware that a move to north London would "strongly appeal to the player."
Gordon isn’t the only player linked with both players. It’s suggested that Julian Alvarez is Arsenal’s dream attacking target, while Yan Diomande, Nico Williams and Rafael Leao are also under consideration.

Liverpool.com says: It is all the same names being linked with Liverpool and its rivals, isn't it? While that might be seen as a reason to dismiss any such rumors, given it will be very easy to link some of those players with all the top clubs, it does give a good indication that the Reds aren't going to find it easy to sign a new winger.
Even if Salah hadn't made up his mind that he was leaving in the summer, finding at least one new attacker was always going to be a priority, and it's going to be a busy market.
Bazoumana Toure (Hoffenheim)
Liverpool is interested in signing Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Toure, and the Reds could hold an advantage in the race for the 20-year-old, Christian Falk has told CF Bayern Insider.
Reports in Germany suggest that Liverpool has identified Toure as a potential candidate to replace Salah this summer, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich potentially providing competition.

But while Bayern is said to admire the $47 million-rated forward, it’s claimed that he is not currently a top priority. That could hand Liverpool a boost, with scouts from the club said to have been in attendance for the Ivory Coast’s 1-0 win over Scotland during the international break.
Liverpool.com says: A new name for Liverpool fans to start looking up, and no doubt Toure won't be the last one linked ahead of the summer.
Signing a young winger like Toure or Diomande to replace Salah would be something of a gamble, but with the likes of Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike already on board, you'd hope that there will be enough goals in place to help whoever comes in as the Egyptian's heir.
