Liverpool is far from done with its transfer business this summer, and there's every possibility that it could break its own record again.
Having already made six new signings since the window opened, Arne Slot and Richard Hughes will still have their eyes on more new additions, as well as aiming to offload a few more members of the current squad as Luis Diaz prepares to sign for Bayern Munich.
Plenty of big names are still being linked with a move to Anfield, with one player in particular grabbing all of the headlines at the moment, and speculation seems to be growing.
Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds today.
Alexander Isak (Newcastle)
Alexander Isak has reportedly already agreed personal terms with Liverpool, with Sky Sports Switzerland detailing the potential contract that awaits him at Anfield.
It's claimed that a five-year deal has been finalized, with the terms set out by the Reds 'perfectly matching' Isak's salary expectations.
The report also suggests that talks will soon begin between the two clubs, with the Reds set to tell Newcastle that a written offer will be submitted.

Liverpool.com says: We may well be getting closer to some form of resolution in this transfer saga - or more likely, we're set for more speculation over the next few weeks.
Liverpool does seem as though it might be Isak's preferred destination, but the Reds still have the tough task of convincing Newcastle to let him go. If the striker pushes for it though, it feels like the Magpies may have to relent, or risk missing out on what would be a record transfer fee, which would help them in various areas.
Rodrygo (Real Madrid)
Liverpool has pulled out of the race for Rodrygo, according to Spanish outlet AS.
It's claimed that both the Reds and Chelsea have decided against signing the Real Madrid winger, with Liverpool pursuing Isak while Chelsea pushes for Xavi Simons.
Interestingly, Tottenham is tipped as a possible destination for the Brazilian, with Spurs said to have asked Real for permission to speak to Rodrygo, while Arsenal is also said to admire him.
Liverpool.com says: Rodrygo does feel like it might be one major signing too far for Liverpool this summer. The Reds are in a good position PSR-wise, hence why Isak is still a possibility, but adding another name as big as Rodrygo's to the list seems as though it might just be wishful thinking.
There's no world in which we can picture him at Tottenham though. Surely he wouldn't go for that?
