Liverpool looks set to qualify for the Champions League this season, with five games remaining. And regardless of how the campaign ends, there will be work to do in the summer.
The Reds have already snapped up Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes in a deal that is worth $83 million (£60 million). Meanwhile, Ibrahima Konate said this week that he is close to agreeing on a new deal, which is a major boost.
There are other positions that will need to be strengthened, though, when the time comes. Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the latest transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds.

RB Leipzig is set to demand more than $118 million (£85 million) if it is to sell Yan Diomande this summer, with the German side close to qualifying for the Champions League.
As a result of returning to UEFA's top competition, Sky Germany reports that Leipzig is under no pressure to sell, though there is an acceptance that if he doesn't move this summer, then he will during the one after.
Diomande only moved to the Bundesliga last year when he was snapped up from the Spanish side Leganes, but he has been a revelation, notching 21 goal contributions in total.
He is not deemed untouchable amid interest from various clubs, supposedly including Liverpool and PSG, but it is being made clear that he won't go on the cheap.

Ideally, Leipzig would like to sign Diomande up to a new contract, which would see him earn more money. However, it would be reluctant to put a release clause in any agreement.
And should Diomande stick with the Red Bull side for another 12 months, the list of suitors would only grow further.
Liverpool needs to inject some more pace into its attack when the summer comes, and it will be losing Mohamed Salah a year earlier than anticipated after he confirmed that he would be leaving.
Liverpool.com says: Diomande has no bad option available to him this summer. He will get a big move if he wants it, or he could stay and develop for another 12 months at a club that will guarantee game time.
Senny Mayulu
Liverpool would be interested in signing PSG forward Senny Mayulu this summer, according to Anfield Watch. The 19-year-old is yet to sign a contract extension in the hope of getting assurances over his game time.
Mayulu is a high-energy and versatile forward who can play in a variety of roles. He has five goals and five assists under Luis Enrique this term and could be on the hunt for his next move.
Liverpool.com says: Adding another bit of quality in the final third is a must for the Reds. With Salah leaving, a replacement who has pace and can score goals regularly is a must.
