Ibrahima Konaté is in the final few months of his Liverpool contract without an extension in place, a situation that has raised fresh questions about his future and drawn renewed interest from PSG.
Foot Mercato reported earlier that several major European clubs have kept tabs on him, including PSG, Real Madrid, and Barcelona. Liverpool chose to keep Konaté last summer rather than listen to potential offers.
According to a previous report from The Athletic, Real Madrid’s long-standing interest has cooled in recent months, with inconsistency cited as a factor in their decision.
Nonetheless, with the player yet to sign a contract extension with Liverpool, could the Premier League club entertain offers for him?
Could Liverpool Sell Ibrahima Konaté in January?

With the January transfer window opening in a couple of weeks, Football Insider reports that Liverpool have set the asking price for Konaté, who could leave after this season. According to the outlet, the Reds are asking for around £15 million.
Despite Real Madrid’s interest in the Liverpool standout fading, Everton’s former CEO, Keith Wyness, believes Konaté could attract interest from both Bayern Munich and PSG.
“Well, Konaté is an interesting one,” Wyness told Football Insider. “I mean, he’s had this dip in form which you would possibly attribute to the fact that he’s had his head turned, and he was already focusing on Real Madrid, etc.
“So that could have explained some of the dip in form. But certainly that dip in form has been very apparent. And I’ve spoken to a lot of my Liverpool friends who are saying that he has been really well below par, you know, whether this whole, if they’re able to resolve the contract situation and then, you know, getting back on track.
“He has shown that he can be a quality player at some stage, but I still believe there’s Bayern and PSG out there as well who might be more interested as well. So it isn’t just around Madrid.”
