Liverpool center back Ibrahima Konaté has not signed a contract extension this summer, fueling speculation about his future.
PSG and Real Madrid are both keeping tabs on the defender, and if the Reds manage to secure a Crystal Palace star, Konaté could be on the move as early as January.
This month, Football Insider reports Konaté could leave Liverpool in the January transfer window if the club signs Marc Guéhi this summer. Real Madrid have long admired the France international, whose contract with Liverpool runs until June 2026.
Foot Mercato recently reported that Konaté has been offered to several top European clubs—including PSG, Real Madrid, and Barcelona—raising the likelihood of a transfer once his contract expires.
Are Liverpool securing a replacement for PSG target?

If Konaté is inching toward an Anfield exit, Liverpool appears ready to get ahead of the Frenchman’s leaving if he doesn’t want to extend his contract.
Paul Joyce of The Times reports that Liverpool have submitted a second offer for Marc Guehi worth £35 million plus a 10 percent sell-on clause. Crystal Palace, however, are holding out for £35 million plus £5 million in add-ons.

Does Ibrahima Konaté want to stay at Liverpool?

Konaté currently earns £70,000 a week but has told Liverpool he wants £200,000 per week to sign a new contract, according to DaveOCKOP.com.
The Premier League champions are pushing for a deal focused mostly on performance-related bonuses, while Konaté is holding out for a higher guaranteed base salary.
Earlier this month, journalist Abdellah Boulma reported that Liverpool are still negotiating a contract extension with Konaté. Although no deal is in place yet, the French defender is happy at the club and wants to stay.
