6 hours ago 3

Post Malone's upcoming gigs at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have been postponed due to the planned Tube strikes on the London Underground.

The American artist was scheduled to take the stage at Tottenham's home ground on Sunday, September 7 and Monday, September 8, however both performances have now been rearranged.

Live Nation issued a statement explaining: "We're sorry to announce that, due to planned strikes on the London Underground, we've been forced to reschedule the two Post Malone concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Without a Tube service, it's impossible to get people to the concert and home again safely, and therefore no event licence can be granted for the nights of 7th and 8th September."

As per MyLondon, the revised dates are:

  • Sunday 7 September show → Saturday 20 September
  • Monday 8 September show → Sunday 21 September

Tickets and refunds

All current tickets will be honoured for the rescheduled dates. Fans unable to attend the new dates can secure a complete refund by contacting their original point of purchase before 10am BST on Monday,. September 8.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14–21 days, depending on the bank. Any returned tickets will be made available for general sale at 10am BST on Tuesday, September 9 exclusively via Ticketmaster.

Tube strike latest

Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT), including drivers, signallers and maintenance workers, are to launch a series of strikes over pay and conditions which will cause huge disruption to services next week.

RMT has been clear it will only accept a reduction in working hours. TfL believes the reduction is unaffordable and impractical. With both sides refusing to back down, as it stands the strikes planned from Sunday to Thursday (September 11) will go ahead unless a deal is reached by Friday night.

(TfL) has warned there will be few or no services between Monday and Thursday, with some disruption on Sunday. TfL has offered a 3.4% pay rise which it described as “fair” and said it cannot afford to meet the RMT’s demand for a cut in the working week

Concerns raised

Ahead of the upcoming concerts, fans have been expressing their concerns on social media. One concert-goer warned: "Anyone attending Post Malone in London on the 7th and 8th September the tubes are ALL on strike! Putting this out there so people can make plans cause damn it's a s*** time for it to happen... hope everyone can still make it."

Another added: "They are going to affect it, no one can get there. He needs to reschedule!!!"

Others shared their frustration at potentially missing the shows, with one fan writing: “I can’t go anymore because of the strike! I’m heartbroken!"
