The famous pair headed to Ibiza to make the most of their respective work breaks

Love Island star Maya Jama has provided an update on her and Manchester City Ruben Dias’ relationship with candid snaps on social media.

The 30-year-old presenter was reported to have met the Portuguese defender, 28, at the European Music Awards (EMAs) in November.

Maya and Ruben were seen together in April attending KSI's Baller League in London, a new six-a-side football competition launched earlier in the year.

On top of this, Maya was spotted at the Etihad on several occasions watching Ruben in action for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Ruben made his first appearance on Maya’s social media back in May when she shared a video of him sitting beside her in the car.

At the end of May, Ruben was seen cuddling up with Maya in a picture of them enjoying some time off on a luxury yacht in Amalfi.

Ruben could seen in the photo with his hand around Maya’s waist, who was holding his face as they stared into each other’s eyes.

Returning to Instagram over the weekend, Maya brought fans inside her trip to Ibiza as Love Island nears the end of its current season.

Leading the post with her resting on her villa balcony’s sofa in a bikini, Maya appeared to have had a ball as she enjoyed some time on a boat and feasted on shrimp.

Ruben appeared in two snaps, with one of him and Maya staring lovingly into each other’s eyes as they went out for dinner.

With a separate snap showing Ruben topless in a pair of purple shorts, Maya captioned the post: “La isla de la magia."

Another picture in the post saw Maya kitted out in exercise shorts and a helmet as she enjoyed a bike ride along the scenic island’s coast.

Ruben is currently enjoying a break from football having played for his club at the Club World Cup, where Man City were knocked out by Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal.

Looking to make up for a poor season last year, Man City are back in action next month as they travel to Wolves for their opening Premier League game of the season.
