Yellowknife RCMP say they have laid charges after someone robbed a business on Old Airport Road and threatened the business' staff with a knife.
In a news release Wednesday, RCMP said they got a call about the robbery Friday just before noon. They said a suspect made off with "a quantity of merchandise" and fled on foot.
Frankie Eyakfwo, 36, faces a charge of extortion without a firearm. RCMP say a Justice of the Peace has remanded Eyakfwo into custody.
