Manchester City will be hoping to regain their Premier League title this season

Manchester City will hope to regain their Premier League title when the new season kicks off in August.

The Blues faltered last term before salvaging a third place finish which ensured a return to the Champions League. Pep Guardiola's side were knocked out of Europe early last term and ended the campaign without a trophy after losing the FA Cup final to Crystal Palace.

City's winter struggles saw a winter transfer splurge and the Blues have strengthened further this summer with James Trafford the latest arrival. He joins Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders as big money arrivals while exciting prospect Sverre Nypan has also arrived at the Etihad.

It remains to be seen how City integrate those new signings into the side, while a number of players are likely to leave between now and the transfer window closing on September 1.

But there is hope at the Etihad that City will be back challenging on all fronts this season and you can follow every kick with the Manchester Evening News.
