Manchester City have submitted their Champions League squad for the 2025-26 campaign

Manchester City have confirmed their Champions League squad for the 2025-26 campaign.
The Blues had to submit the list to UEFA by 11pm tonight following the conclusion of the summer transfer window.
City could submit a maximum of 25 names in their List A squad and have opted for 23, leaving two spots open for potential new signings in January, who would then be able to feature for the Blues in the knockouts.
Two of the squad places must be taken up by goalkeepers and City have named four - with Stefan Ortega included despite falling down the pecking order. Summer signings Gianluigi Donnarumma, James Trafford and Marcus Bettinelli are also included.
Fellow new arrivals Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders are in the list while Rico Lewis and Nico O'Reilly are on List B - which can be amended until 11pm UK time the night before each fixtures.
That list is for players born on or after January 2004 who have since their 15th birthday been eligible to play for City for any uninterrupted period of two years or a total of three consecutive years with a maximum of one loan period to a club from the same association for a period not longer than one year.
Having O'Reilly and Lewis on that list means they are not required to be named in the main squad, where UEFA rules state there are a minimum of eight places reserved exclusively for ‘locally trained players’ while no club may have more than four ‘association-trained players’ listed among those eight places.
Ahead of the knockout phase, those clubs that make it through the league phase can register a maximum of three new players by 11pm UK time on February 5.
There is no room in City's squad for the out of favour Kalvin Phillips, who is currently sidelined through injury.
