Manchester City defender Josh Wilson-Esbrand has joined Polish top-flight side Radomiak Radom on a season-long loan.

The 22-year-old is set for a fifth spell away from the Etihad Stadium. He completed his move to Poland a week after the transfer window closed in England, but on deadline day in the Ekstraklasa.

The full-back joined Stoke City on loan for the second half of last season but struggled for game time in the Potteries, making just seven appearances.

The season before he started the campaign on loan with Reims in France, before being recalled in January to move to Championship club Cardiff City.

His first loan spell away from the Etihad came at Coventry City, by which time he had already made his debut for City, appearing in a 6-1 Carabao Cup win against Wycombe Wanderers in September 2021.

He has made a further two appearances for the Blues, as a substitute in the group stages of the successful 2022/23 Champions League campaign.

The England Under-21 joins a Radomiak Radom side sitting eighth in the Polish Ekstraklasa after seven games of this season and will provide competition at left-back.

His City contract expires in two years and he faces competition in that position at the Etihad from summer signing Rayan Ait-Nouri.
