Manchester City will hope to extend their unbeaten run to seven matches at Brentford on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues have improved since the September international break and will hope to sign off for the October pause in Premier League action with a victory in the capital.
City have won four of their last six games and conceded last-gasp equalisers in drawing the other two. It's helped lift Pep Guardiola's side up the table and they will be targeting three points against the Bees to keep up with the early pace-setters
Gianluigi Donnarumma will keep his place in goal while Nico O'Reilly has impressed at left back this term. His form allows Josko Gvardiol and Ruben Dias to continue in the centre but Pep Guardiola faces a decision at right back.
Abdukodir Khusanov had been in possession of the shirt before his injury and John Stones started against Monaco in midweek. The England international has competition from Matheus Nunes and Rico Lewis but both have been overlooked in recent weeks and Stones may well get the nod considering the set-piece threat Brentford pose and his ability to cope with a potential aerial bombardment.
In midfield, Rodri played an hour in midweek and Guardiola reported no problems with the midfielder ahead of the trip to the capital. The Spaniard will surely start if fit with Nico Gonzalez and Mateo Kovacic offering cover from the bench.
Tijjani Reijnders is an ever-present in the middle while Phil Foden, Jeremy Doku and Erling Haaland are certain starters given their form.
That leaves one spot open and Savinho can celebrate his new contract with a second successive start in place of skipper Bernardo Silva.
City predicted XI: Donnarumma, Stones, Dias, Gvardiol, O'Reilly, Rodri, Reijnders, Foden, Savinho, Haaland, Doku
