Man City next five fixtures compared to Arsenal and Aston Villa after Man United defeat

Second-half goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Patrick Dorgu condemned Man City to a 2-0 Premier League defeat at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Manchester City's Premier League title hopes suffered a huge setback after they were beaten 2-0 by Manchester United on Saturday afternoon. Michael Carrick enjoyed a dream start to life in the United hot-seat as the returning Bryan Mbeumo and Patrick Dorgu scored in the second half.

However, City will likely feel that United should have been reduced to 10 men in the first-half when Diogo Dalot's late challenge left Jeremy Doku writhing in pain. Referee Anthony Taylor handed him a yellow card that VAR Craig Pawson confirmed, having decided it was only glancing contact without excessive force.

But the defeat at Old Trafford leaves City six points behind leaders Arsenal, who are in action against Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening. Next up for City is a Champions League match against Bodo/Glimt on Tuesday, before Guardiola's side return to Premier League action against Wolves next weekend.

Galatasaray then visit the Etihad Stadium before City make the journey to the capital to take on Tottenham at the start of next month. The second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final against Newcastle United then comes a couple of days later for Guardiola's side.

And below we have rounded up City's next five fixtures compared to their Premier League title rivals;
