Manchester City were beaten 3-1 by Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League on a night where Rodri saw red for two yellow cards
Manchester City were humbled by Bodo/Glimt as the Champions League newbies ran out 3-1 winners at the Aspmyra Stadion. Kasper Hogh took advantage of some terrible defending to net twice in the first half and Jens Petter Hauge added a third in the second period for the jubilant hosts.
Rayan Cherki threatened a City comeback by getting one back for the visitors with 35 minutes still to go. However, Rodri then picked up two yellow cards in the space of a minute and it was the home team that were stronger again from that point.
Omar Marmoush came off the bench to try and pull City further into contention but Bodo/Glimt held on and were good value for their win. Here are the player ratings from the Manchester Evening News.

Ait-Nouri: Started brightly on the right but then disappeared and was absent from his defensive post for the first-half goals. 4
Khusanov: Again, he did okay in a defence that didn't. A few wobbles but dealt with most things. 5
Alleyne: Three mistakes for the two goals that City never recovered from, even if he steadied himself after the break. 4
O'Reilly: Still has defensive concerns but did at least help to get City on the scoresheet. 5
Rodri: Lifeless as Bodo/Glimt scored a third and then two silly yellow cards inside a minute to get sent off. 3
Lewis: Careless with the ball and unable to impose any calm on the team. 4
Reijnders: Looked one of the brightest going forward for City, although that didn't say a lot. 5
Cherki: Took his goal well to try and spark a revival, but didn't offer much outside of that. 5
Foden: Struggled to create anything and too often his attempts to do so just helped Bodo/Glimt. 4
Haaland: Wasn't involved much and when he was he missed the chances that came his way. 4
