Manchester City player ratings from their Premier League game with Burnley as an Erling Haaland goal was enough for the Blues to win
Manchester City beat Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor to displace Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table. The Blues sit in first for the first time since August with just five matches left to play in the campaign.
Erling Haaland put Pep Guardiola's side ahead inside five minutes as City threatened to demolish their opponents, who were relegated to the Championship on the back of the result. Rayan Cherki had already drawn a brilliant save from Martin Dubravka and City had 13 shots in the first half alone.
However, they couldn't make their dominance count and had a few scares over the course of the game as Burnley threatened. There was relief for the Blues at full-time that they had hung on for the victory.

Here are the player ratings from the Manchester Evening News.
Donnarumma: A quiet night with little to do - maybe to his relief after Sunday - although his kicking wasn't great. 6
Nunes: Not great with the ball at his feet, yet made some important contributions defensively as Burnley threatened. 7
Khusanov: His speed helped him to mop everything up for City but his reading of the game got him there as he impressed again. 7
Guehi: Got himself into some sticky situations in possession, although did pop up as an attacking presence in the Burnley box. 6
Ait-Nouri: Couldn't really link up with Doku enough and blazed over a good chance in the box when Silva teed him up. 6
Silva: Popped up everywhere in the first half, finding space in the Burnley third and setting up teammates. 7
O'Reilly: Made an important block in the first half but sloppy with his passing and his move into midfield disrupted the team. 6
Semenyo: Some nice play with Cherki and powerful runs, although he wasn't able to offer much of an attacking threat and was taken off. 6
Cherki: Started off like a house on fire and kept plugging away in the second half even if he was at times wasteful. 7
Doku: Made the key pass to find Haaland early on and then didn't do much else for the remaining 85 minutes. 6
Haaland: Gets credit for the goal but there was more to be had that he could have snaffled on another night. 7
